It all began around 2010, with a collaboration with coconut farmers to develop high-quality coconut derivative products that meet global organic farming standards. In March 2023, Janurland Coffee was established with the mission of elevating Javanese coffee to premium quality, akin to the products we had previously developed. Food safety standards such as HACCP and FSSC 22000, which were applied to the processing and handling of coconut products, will also be applied to coffee products in the future. In organic farming, we will strive to implement standards from USDA Organic and EU Organic regulations on selected plots.
Behind the enchanting aroma of coffee lies the reality of the coffee farmers' lives, often disproportionate to the economic value they generate. We endeavor to build fair trade with the farming community by ensuring sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices such as soil conservation and prudent resource management. We hope that coffee farmers will receive a fair minimum price for their harvest, reflecting production costs and providing reasonable profit. We will seek to apply the Fair Trade concept in cooperation with farmer groups and workers in the coffee sector, ensuring they receive decent working conditions, including appropriate wages, health protection, and the freedom to organize.
